Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County builds two basic floor plans. The three-bedroom house is 1040 square feet, and the four-bedroom is 1343 square feet. Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County determines the size of the building project based on the size of the partner family. The size of the house is based on the gender, ages, and number of family members.

The Basic 3-Bedroom Habitat House includes:

Sidewalk	Laundry hook-up (natural gas for dryer)
High-efficiency gas furnace	Tankless water heater
Low-maintenance exterior siding	Insulated windows with screens
Gas or electric range	Washer & dryer
Refrigerator	One full bathroom
A detached 8x10 storage shed	Parking Pad

An "Options Package" of several predetermined choices of up to $1500 is also available.
